Deep Sea Dragons, as their name suggests, spend most of their time in the darkest depths of the sea. They have a bioluminescent dorsal spine that serves to attract prey and communicate with their own kind. As with many deep sea animals, they generally eat whatever they can manage to bait. They rarely leave the ocean floor, surfacing only during breeding season. When they do choose to travel to the shallower depths, they avoid bright lights and will only come up far away from shore.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Willonim's egg washed up near Marquian's dragon clan one day. They took it in but the egg cried telepathically that it needed water all the time. It wasnt even satisfied when Hona-lee took it to her lake but it hatched there anyway. Because of this Willonim has become weak. She can survive better in fresh water than most of her kind but salty seas are her true realm. Even there though, she is weak as the tons of salt hurts her tender scales. They say the best of both worlds but Willonim bitterly says to you that it is more accurate sometimes to say not of this world  nor of that one. She has decided, nevertheless, to stay with Marquian's Dragon clan in the lake but always eats her fish with extra salt and is eager to run any errands the clan might have that have to do with the sea.
