Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A regal and soft-spoken creature, Amenti is the descendant of a most venerable bloodline. The respect accorded to him, however, hails from his own virtues rather than the glory of his ancestors. A sage among his people, he offers guidance and peace to all who seek him, preaching the virtues of charity and mercy and speaking often of a better world that awaits after death. His striking beauty and habit of observing the stars at night has earned him the moniker of "Gem of the Night," an altogether too awing nickname which never ceases to embarrass him.
