Young drakes are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own.

Like his father and mother, this little lad is full of restless energy, and loves chasing everything that moves (if nothing is available, his tail will do). Fond of strawberries and naps in the sun, he's always ready to hop up and play with anyone that passes him by. Now, his parents would probably be worried about stranger danger if they didn't do the same thing themselves, but since they do everything's cool.
