Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Behold, seeker of the dragon lore, Lonebytheriver of the two-finned Blunas. Her name was originally given in Cree but this is the closest translation. Of course, there is a story to the name: Her egg was found a little way up a river instead of the ocean by a naturalist studying the life of beavers there. Of course, he then decided to observe the egg instead and saw the egg hatch into a little Bluna. He realized instantly that the hatchling was in the wrong surroundings and might even be harmed by the freshwater. So she was caught and then set free again in the ocean near a Bluna pod. They accepted her but did not feed her. So she was fed from a boat. Luckily she did learn to hunt for herself by imitating the older Blunas of the pod. She stayed rather tame, though, ever after.
She found a mate in a male of the pod whose name is Oniuji.
