Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

OMG A Double Rainbow's name comes from a rather amusing incident that happened to her some time ago. One day, when she was enjoying the morning sunlight, she was lucky enough to witness a rare and beautiful sight: a spectacular double rainbow. She was so overjoyed by this that she cried out "Oh my god, a double rainbow!" before spontaneously bursting into song, to the hilarity of all those watching. Rainbow has since joined the Vocaloid Clan, a group of singing dragons, and her song—imaginatively dubbed Double Rainbow—has become a big hit in the Cave; indeed, as those less fond of her songwriting talent often point out, it is impossible to go through a day without hearing some dragon somewhere singing "Double rainbow all the way across the sky...". When not staging concerts with the other Vocaloids, she goes in search of rainbows, and although she has succeeded many times she has never found another double rainbow.
