Avatars of Change are unpredictable, exuberant dragons whose unique connection to magic has saturated their entire bodies. It is said that possessing one of their iridescent scales can change one’s fate, and many have sought the favor of these dragons hoping to receive a scale as a gift.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

True to her breed, Kuack is a very unpredictable dragon. Her favorite hobbies include annoying her sister, spontaneously changing other's fates based on her own emotions, and making some form of confusion each day. Despite being older than most of the dragons in the cave, she can be as immature as a hatchling. Her mood changes at the slightest provocation, which doesn't bode well for everyone around her. It's warned by many that if anyone crosses paths with her, they should get away quickly. But what they don't know is that almost every change, however small or big, had something to do with her gift. Those subtle changes of life, creeping in the night, all of it was her, and always will be.
