Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It glows with some form of arcane energy.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Another member of the Eternal Children, Eternal Flame is a quiet, studious hatchling. He enjoys spending time in the classes taught by Firelord Ozai and Pheonix Flame helping to tutor other hatchlings. In his free time he reads and his goal is to one day read every single book in Tanleigh'sha's Great Library. Content with his lot in life he is cheerful and gracious, always eager to lend a helping hand...er talon rather to a fellow hatchling and on occasion, even an adult from time to time.
