Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Good Morning wakes up very early in the morning to see the sunrise. The dragons say he doesn't get much sleep. He normally sleeps from 9:00 PM to 4:00 AM. Seeing the sunrise every morning is very important to him. When Good Morning was a hatchling, he never knew of the sunset. He asked why the sky got dark and when he woke up it was light. His answer was the sun rises. Good Morning, eager to see this 'sunrise' decided he'd wake up early to see it. He did so and he thought it was the most beautiful thing ever.
