Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Kuzcu is known to be one of the craziest dragons in the entire cave. His reputation for seeing visions was once a great power, but some of the younger dragons downplayed his power into a point where it sounded like insanity. He soon then asked his master to freeze him as he was, so he could hide and easily evade the insults of his fellow dragons. The only one known to ever listen to him was Sywo Werder.
