Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

From the entrance of Kad's clan cave, visitors can see a substantial heap of gold within. The hoard's short distance from the opening has fooled some into thinking they could get away with a portion. Kurrenci serves as the main obstacle for creatures with such foolish ideas. One of the clan's largest dragons and equipped with crystal-embedded claws, she provides at the very least ugly scars for anyone who attempts stealing. This dragon has always had a strong sense of law and order - even if the hoard wasn't gained by the most lawful means - and she enforces her ideals with ferocity.

One of her early victims, Fling with the Sky, somehow charmed his way into pet status instead of being killed outright. He now watches the hoard during Kurrenci's rare sleep shifts and wakes her up for guard duty by chattering in her ear.
