Dorsal Dragons are so named because they have large fins along their backs that can be raised and lowered at will. They use these fins to regulate body temperature; they raise them to cool off when they become overheated. The bright colors on the fins double as a means of attracting mates.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Daring Dancer is beautiful and she knows it. She flaunts her beauty by raising her bright red fins and moving gracefully when a male comes near. She can spend hours a day grooming her scales and giggling with her friend Carmine Crest. She is rather shallow and unintelligent. She acts like a misguided teenager who only cares about her looks and boys. Daring Dancer always is in some kind of relationship, but her relationships never last long. One silly argument will send her running for the door. She wouldn't know true love if it hit her in the face. Although Daring Dancer is rather immature, she has her moments. As her name suggests, she is a very good dancer. She seems to love dancing as much as beauty and boys. She can throw herself into it and forget about all the superficial things she usually cares about.
