Pillow Dragons are covered in enormous amounts of fur affectionately referred to as fluff. Despite their deceivingly large size, they can still fly even with such tiny wings because their bodies are remarkably light. Pillow Dragons have a habit of sleeping for up to eighteen hours a day, waking only in short bursts. During their few waking hours, they take the time to hunt for prey. Once a pillow dragon becomes an adult, its fur grows very slowly. Pillow dragon fur is used to make very expensive and valuable cloth known as “dragon cashmere.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Hiker has always been the more active of the Pillows, and in the short periods of time when she is awake she likes to stroll around outside, often bringing along a friend. For this reason, she was given the name Hiker as soon as her interest in taking long walks was recognized. Because walking gave her such joy, she was always very pleasant to be around, giving off a welcoming, friendly feeling. When she was younger, Hiker used to wander off and the other dragons would notice her absence after a few hours. Usually she was found nestled up against a tree, having fallen asleep after a nice stroll. As a result of being so active, Hiker is made mostly of muscle and is one of the fastest Pillows in her cave, which is really saying something, because Pillows are notoriously lethargic! Despite her interest in exercise, Hiker is a very heavy sleeper and sometimes begins to doze off in the middle of a walk, much to the amusement of her companions.
