Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Ember found the egg of Seraphina Nuria while she was cooking for the Christmas feast. She had been icing some cookies, when she saw an egg lying near her foot. The bright egg filled her holiday cheer as she bent to pick it up; placing it gently in a basket of holly with three other eggs. When the egg hatched, she thought it looked a bit scrawny compared to the other hatchlings, and feared for her, but the young Yulebuck named Minze took a liking to her. Seraphina, much to Ember's surprise, became the protector of Minze, who was often teased for his slow catching on. Everyone thought that she would be the one who was teased, but Seraphina soon changed their minds. When she matured, she had the most beautiful gold wings, green horns, and slender white body. She proved to be one of the most beautiful dragons Ember had ever raised. Sadly, when the winter season ends, she leaves with her other Christmas siblings, and returns only when the tallest Mountain of Elgar is again in winter season.
