Speckle-Throated Dragons are an active, playful breed. They are easily excited and rarely remain still, spending much of their time in the air. Living in groups of up to sixty dragons, they nest in open plains and at the bases of mountains. Their speckled throats are their most distinctive feature, as well as the loud, echoing call they produce to communicate with one another. Male Speckle-Throats have a small crest on top of their heads, which they can flush with blood to intimidate enemies and attract mates.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

To keep audiences entertained while full-length plays are being set up, Roaring Lion Productions offers a variety of short-form serials. One of the most popular involves the adventures of the heroic Nightshade, his two sidekicks, and a whole rogue's gallery of villains. With over-the-top plots, improbable cliffhangers, and the most incompetent peacekeepers to ever walk Galsreim, the serials are incredibly ridiculous, but that's part of their charm.

Dulom plays Nightshade's first sidekick—the young, painfully earnest Warbler. He wishes his character were less popular, as he hates every part of his role. He hates his costume—garish full-body makeup that makes him resemble a mutant bright-breasted wyvern. He hates the plots, which make him look ridiculous without giving him much to do. Most of all, he hates uttering lines like "Gosh, Nightshade, there's snow way we're getting out of this!" when faced with a frost dragon villain.
