Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Among her shy, shallow, or otherwise selfish siblings, Alzubra (Alby for short) is a truly friendly face. She's a modest yet confident individual who seeks to help and support others as best she can. She is exceptionally kind and tries to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, including the more unpleasant members of her brood. Alby is patient, almost too patient. She tends to take a lot from some of the more unsavory folks she gets to be around. While she can usually keep her cool, Alby strains at the sight of filth. For as accepting as she tries to be around everybody, even she will cringe at the sight of an unkempt individual. She will also not stand for violent characters. Though rather small, Alby is surprisingly strong. She's been known to throw a hefty punch and pull off some impressive acrobatic moves. She's also not a half bad magic user. She'll only ever unleash these abilities in self-defense however. Alby does not believe in senseless violence.
