Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Koaem, despite his elementally affinity being Ice, is far from being "cool".

He's got a short temper, and doesn't have the patience for hatchlings.

He lives alone in a small cave on the edge of the alpine(s), but occasionally leaves to spend some time with his mate, Thuraem, which is an uncommon behavior despite his breed's nature of living a solitary life. Though he can be rather aggressive, he does feel lonely often and enjoys Thuraem's company.

Whenever summer rolls around, a lot of dragons like to gather around him and cool off from the heat by lying nearby his chilly body. Nothing bothers Koaem more than being surrounded by a bunch of unfamiliar dragons.

He especially hates being around hatchlings. He can't stand how a majority of hatchlings are ridiculously energetic and that most of them can't be quiet or sit still for a few minutes. Being an Ice dragon, he naturally grew up quiet and indolent.

Despite this, he does seem to be a little paternal sometimes...
