Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Lost at Sea lives in an ocean near its shore. She looks after her half-sister, Forever in a Pond, who was frozen because both hatchlings were females, which was not wanted by the leader of these dragons. Neither hatchling wanted to be frozen, however, so Forever in a Pond was chosen randomly. Since then Lost at Sea has felt guilty for her half-sister's eternal youth, and wishes she had volunteered to be frozen instead. But Lost at Sea knows she is lucky to have matured, and often acts as if she doesn't care about Forever in a Pond, because she feels that one must move on in life.
