Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

In her early days as a quiet and confused hatchling, Emerald Sonata was extremely shy and could never find her voice when she was spoken to. Her only friend was Hintrada, a benevolent purple dragon. One day, as Emerald came over to her cave chambers for another playdate, she instead found Violia, Hintrada's mother, singing to herself as she does everyday. Violia's strong and pure voice amazed Emerald, and at that moment she felt guilty that she had been neglecting her own. Inspired, Emerald began talking to Violia, asking her many questions about confidence and how she could overcome her shyness. The purple dragon explained to her how to use her voice well from then on--a little lesson everyday. Since then, Emerald has become much less shy, and has taken Violia's love of singing into herself. Many dragons can now find Emerald Sonata singing along with Violia, with Hintrada humming with them.
