Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Scayle, like most of her kind, is very snooty to the other dragons that share her Master's cave. If they have a disheveled appearance, she'll stick up her snout, look away, and give a haughty sniff. Interestingly, if she sheds a scale (or pulls it off after deeming it imperfect) she uses it to line the wall of her cavern. If she is feeling less uppity towards a particular dragon, she will sometimes stick a discarded scale onto one of the cave's dragons. In her eyes, even a flawed scale of hers still more lovely than even the best scale of the dragon she puts it on, though she keeps that thought to herself. The mirror-like shine of her scales has, much to her dismay, caught the attention of a male Black Marrow dragon by the name of Frightful Dissonance. She does not return his affection (though she doesn't hesitate to return his gifts), and has taken to flying whenever she knows him to be awake. Scayle is, however, impressed with his persistence, albeit in an exasperated way.
