Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Striped Whip is the child of Hayate Shinobu and Dawn of the Golden Sun. She doesn't really like her father for abandoning her and her mother. She knows he means well, but she still dislikes him. Because of her divided family, she isn't very sociable and she believes almost no one understands her. She only knows of one dragon that is as misunderstood as her. That is her mate, Red Leaf of Fall. They love each other, but they don't really see each other that often.
