Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Disturbing rumors have begun to circulate recently about a ghostly dragon who drifts from town to town, terrorizing the humans who live there as she seeks revenge on the one who killed her. Deathly pale and possessing an eerie screech, the dragon certainly looks ghostly enough, though with a disturbing solidity when it comes to destroying things. False Phantom is really no more ghostly than any other albino, but dreamed up the whole scheme (with the help of her magi partner and pretend exorcist Hemarr) after hearing about the exploits of red dragon Bonfyre and her human knight companion. The scam won't last forever, even though the duo has been careful to pick small, isolated towns, so False Phantom tries to get all the enjoyment she can out of her own personal ghost story.
