Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Contrary to most Earth Dragons, Cashmerino uses her powers to move boulders and stones from grazing areas for sheep.  In return, the sheep provide Cashmerino's master with wool for spinning and knitting.  Also, Cashmerino is also responsible for upkeep of the cave, since no other dragons in her cave can control the earth and stone like she can.
