And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Dillian does not enjoy being forever youthful. He's, in fact, livid about it. He feels cheated from having a full, eventful life. For this, he holds much angst and anger toward his master. He's spiteful, and refuses to listen to his elder, Apfelsine, another Magi dragon. <br/>Dillian refuses to learn any magic and often ignores his teachers. He's quite the trouble maker, and has a rather large reputation among the other hatchlings.
