Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. While most silver dragons prefer to live in isolation atop some mountain peak, Kuayn instead enjoys mingling with the rest of the clan among the towering pine trees. It's an ill kept secret that the silver is half Grave dragon, so he's regularly teased whenever he eats, as he doesn't particularly enjoy the taste of raw meat. Incapable of breathing fire on his own after an illness, he is forced to beg another dragon to roast his prey until its charred black to be palatable. Kuayn is on good terms with the Hellfires because of this, and is regularly found lurking around their territory for the lone reason of avoiding harassment, even if the Hellfires consider him subordinate. His mother's breed, the Grave dragons, have mostly rejected him though one of the females, Mayelbr, often seeks him out for company. She recently laid an egg.
