Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

There's something about Clarice that just doesn't seem fitting since she's a Vampire. Chances are that it's probably related to how friendly and social she really is. She likes talking with dragons and humans alike and means well, but often scares away whomever it is she's trying to converse with. She's a little gullible, but no one in the clan really wants to attempt to take advantage of a Vampire to start with. Regardless, she has a quick mind and can put things together very fast, even though her intelligence is average.

Clarice is also polite in addition to being social. She knows when to talk and when to let others talk and is fun to converse with if given a chance. However, she is still a Vampire, and may occasionally say 'politically inaccurate' things thinking that they're compliments. Most of the dragons don't take it to heart since they have a vague understanding that she means well.
