Few dragons embody serenity and potential quite as perfectly as Avatars of Creation. They dedicate their abilities to the arts of healing and growing, and their shimmering scales seem to glow in accordance with their mood. The tendrils of an Avatar of Creation grow slowly throughout its life, and the longer the tendrils grow, the more potent its abilities become.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Toward the beginning of the medieval time period, Genesis was a particularly lonely dragon. She had a hard time connecting with her mother and father, nonetheless other dragons. Genesis was truly a sight to behold, but even then, Genesis felt insecure. One day, Genesis noticed builders beginning to build what would soon become Valkemere. The builders were strange creatures, humans, that was what they were. Genesis inspected the area, and she ended flying down to the humans. Though the humans were startled, they neared Genesis. Genesis liked these humans, much more than other dragons. That was it! She liked humans rather than dragons! From then on, Genesis loved to visit the humans, but she now remains in solitude, waiting for the right human to come.
