Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It occasionally shoots small puffs of smoke from its nose, like it’s trying to breathe fire.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Little Konhr hasn't developed the ability to breathe fire, but it can emit a large volume of smoke from its nostrils, quickly creating a smoggy atmosphere. It's very active and eager to play, but many of the larger dragons don't want anything to do with it. Thankfully, a kind old Red dragon named Maeyella has taken a shine to the hatchling, as she normally does, and spends a good deal of time playing with it.
