Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Yule-Jewel was a little hatchling when she first wandered off into the snow in search of adventure, but she got caught in a blizzard and became lost many, many miles from home. She wandered into a gigantic underground cavern that was strangely uninhabited and made her new home there among the hot springs. When Jewel grew up, she became lonely and began seeking out other dragons. She soon discovered that she could steal eggs from other dragons and raise the youngsters as her own, and even decided to begin rescuing abandoned or lost eggs and hatchlings, naming them all as her own children. Jewel's favorite season is winter and she can often be seen making giant snow angels, and her favorite holiday is Christmas. She collects rare and beautiful gems and her favorite thing to do on Christmas Eve is to select several people, leaving each a gem under their pillow, thus earning her name "Yule-Jewel".
