White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Leuchtglanz is the main healer for the Lunar Heralds in Laura-Lana's clan. Because the clan has a large Lunar Herald population, Sternenfunke has assigned him assistants. Wisesnout is responsible for the blue Lunar Heralds, Petriklaue for the silver Lunar Heralds, and Sugarcreme for the golden Lunar Heralds. In addition to supervising the three assistants, Leuchtglanz bears the burden of looking after the health of the brown Lunar Heralds by himself.

The white dragon is quiet and unassuming. Those who don't know him, often think he is shy. That is not true. Leuchtglanz has the iron self-confidence of a dragon who has looked into his own heart and accepted what he found there.
