Scymrian Pygmies are a highly social, hardy breed that live in colonies of up to thirty adults. They are capable of living in a variety of environments, but prefer warm, humid areas. Depending on where they live, potential Scymrian Pygmy mates may present females with a special item, such as a pretty shell or interesting rock. Scymrian Pygmies pair only long enough to raise their young. Although unable to fly, Scymrian Pygmies are capable of both gliding and propelling themselves underwater. In bright sunlight, their iridescent scales may confuse or blind predators, allowing them enough time to escape or find shelter.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pygmy dragons are the smallest category of dragons, being on the same scale as domesticated animals. They are often found around concentrated populations of dragons, relying on their larger brethren to ward away potential predators and leave scraps. As such, the majority of a pygmy’s diet is scavenged. Due to their tiny size, pygmies do not breed with larger varieties of dragons.

User Description

Don't be daunted by his threatening name, Blood is only named after the color sharing the same title. He is not violent or aggressive or even that outstanding, he's pretty chill. Compared to his mother and sister, who are constantly chattering and bouncing off the walls, Blood is a huge step down. He's very quiet and reversed, acting a lot like his father, Audra. The biggest difference between them, though, is that Blood is not a malicious trickster. His quiet behavior leads many to assume he's uncharacteristically antisocial, but this is a generalization. Blood does generally get along with other dragons, he's just not super energetic or vocal during such meetings. He gets along relatively well with his family (his mother, father, and sister), but this is mostly because the rest of their family, made up of larger dragons, mostly ignores them. So, Blood has learned to be rather selective when it comes to making friends. He doesn't like being around dragons that talk down to him.
