Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

WaffleWing Bronze Tinsel was the thirteenth Tinsel dragon in GiratinaOF's cave. Something special about her is that, unlike other tinsels, the leafs and fruits around her head and tail don't stop growing. Thus she lets hatchies and little, weak or ill adults eat a piece of them, so both profit by this. All dragons having done that said they felt much better afterward, so these leafs and fruits seem to be curing. Sometimes it happens that instead of a red berry a light brown one grows. This happens more often in late summer and the beginning of autumn. Dragons tasting these said it's like flour when they were chewing it. And if she sweats strongly, small amounts of water come out of her wingtips. The other dragons and the owner quickly came to the idea to make waffles out of this—and they taste delicious, but even more yummy when you add the berries and leafs to them! So WaffleWing Bronze Tinsel bears her name for a good reason!
