Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Reggie is sweet little Holiday Dragon. He smells like peppermints constantly, and he loves mistletoe. Reggie is constantly in a good mood; he can cure the blues just by telling a joke. Many dragons say he's using magic, even though he insists that he's just high in Christmas Spirit. When it isn't Christmas, he usually hibernates in an igloo until December is back.
