Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
As dawn enveloped the landscape, the Nocturne pair dived for shelter in the nearest cave. Yet it wasn't until they were confined there by the day outside that they encountered its creator. Upon the Spitfire's appearance, they expected vivid anger, yet he merely requested that they assist him hollow out the cave further in return for the secure location. Since then, that is where the two often stake out the daylight.
Nyrox's intrepidity leads to him habitually venturing into other territories. He insists that this is due to a carefree nature rather than carelessness though and he boldly navigates the landscape unworried by the approaching dawn.
Unlike his mate, Lissic, Nyrox considers the near immobile state the sun cements him in every now and then a mere nuisance. However, their perpendicular perspectives seem to be what drew them together and, presently, they have both left the cave to rejoice in the night, however temporary it might be.
