Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This fiery-colored dragon is warm-hearted and enjoys intelligent company. Living in a cave overlooking a lush kingdom, Kreeanna met and struck up a friendship with the princess there on a day that the princess had sneaked away from the castle. As they parted that day, they made arrangements for the dragon to come pick up the princess from her balcony in two days—but the princess did not happen to mention it to her parents, who sent her to her quarters for a week because of her running off.

When Kreeanna swooped in to pick up the princess from the tower and take her back to her lair, the castle alarm was raised and knights were sent to rescue the fair maiden. However, the princess did not want to return and told Kreeanna that the knights were coming to kidnap her, so Kreeanna helped her to fend them off.

Eventually the truth came out, the princess was returned, and Kreeanna was no longer besieged by knights, but stories about the dangerous dragon who stole a princess remain.
