Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Much to his scroll keeper's annoyance, Spellstriker is a magic junkie. He will find any excuse to use his power just to feed his addiction. As a result, if he is unable to use his power for a certain amount of time, he ends up shaking violently and suffering from other symptoms one would expect in a drug addict suffering from withdrawal. Simple small bursts of magical energy are not enough to feed Spellstriker's addiction. He must do extravagant displays of his power in order to satisfy his magic urges. This usually results in the keeper of his scroll running as fast as she can in order to escape the potential damage she could endure as a result of a stray spell, which is usually why she forbids him to use his power.
