Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Gregarious and sociable, Don d 'Dawn is one of the friendliest dragons in the clan. He is one of the most conciliatory dragons they've ever seen. A close friend to the friendly four, Don d 'Dawn helps them out whenever they need it. He does get annoyed however when his clanmates or human tease him about his name by going Don d 'Dawn don don. It sounds rather like suspense music and he hates it. He'll never tell them that though. He wants to get along with everyone. So he hides his dislike of it. Don. One of the best loved dragons in the clan.
