Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ice Kitty likes to growl lowly, almost as if purring, when she's feeling content. She is also very curious, and will follow any wandering human she spots, attentively watching every move they make. She has to be careful not to approach them too closely, however, or they will be affected by the freezing cold that surrounds her body, and might even die from hypothermia. When this happens, she dejectedly walks up to their dead bodies and takes with her whatever trinket they might have been carrying to add it to her collection. She will afterwards play with these acquisitions to bright up her mood if she's feeling lonely. Some more sensitive dragons find it disgusting that she 'purrs' as she plays with dead humans' property, but she doesn't mind what others may say. If Ice Kitty is happy, she will 'purr'. Beware, however, if she is angry, for she is still a mighty Ice Dragon, and anyone that dared to laugh to her face would find a quick cold death.
