Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ivory is a gloomy dragon. Much like her storm clouds, Ivory has an awful tendency to rain on other's days. It's not intentional; she doesn't have the energy for things like grudges, or anger, or even to find happiness in other's misery. No, Ivory isn't like that at all. She just can't help but think that everything isn't going to be okay, that if she doesn't ruin everything—someone or something else will.

Lately, her mate—Seth Iseral—has been trying to help her. It's not always helpful, and Seth can't get things right all the time, but... Between him and their son Metrial, Ivory is starting to think... Maybe things can be okay. Maybe not now, maybe not for a long time, but she'll find a way, one day.
