Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

In his youth, Skybur was confounded by the strange playthings of the no-scales that were scattered across the land. The light-paper fake dragons were the cause of his more frequented flying areas. He would wing his way through the invisible strands that held the magic that mortals called "kite" there, and look down upon the world. However, ages passed away and he grew much too large to blend into the stange toy-things of no-scales.

Instead, Skybur took to the heavens, dancing among the stars and coaxing rain from the dancing clouds, like tears from a seraph. Often, Sky can be found coaxing the green-ones from their caves and dark places into the glorious rise of the morn. However, no greater sight could come than that of Skybur playing an alacritous game of tag with the deep-divers of the open seas, these contests sometimes continuing on for millennia, with only a rumbling laugh to remind the world of its presence.
