Soulstone Dragons are deeply empathic creatures. The pearls which they carry with them from a very young age are deeply attuned to the emotions of those around them, glowing in accordance with the strength and sincerity of the bonds individuals share with one another. Soulstone dragons have the ability to show that, even in the heat of a vicious feud, the love that friends, family, and partners share for one another remains true and strong.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Her name would suggest that Royalty is bold, regal, and aristocratic. She is not. Instead, she is quite the opposite. Royalty is meek, reserved, and often very nervous. She is highly self-conscious, often overthinking every little thing she says and does. This stems back to her time working as a servant for a very powerful dragon. During this period of her life, Royalty was severely abused and pressured. Everything she had to do needed to be perfect, resulting in her harsh judgement of herself. Ultimately, her old master cast her out after one too many mistakes, leaving her the unfortunate, quivering shell she is now. Regardless, Royalty is still a wonderfully kind and considerate dragon. She believes the one thing she can still do right is use her stone to reinforce the strong bonds of her community and support them. She still tries to do everything in her power to help others, even when she herself doesn't believe that's possible. It's a good thing her new home supports her.
