Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dancer was found near a pond with a badly torn wing.  A spire tore her wing and she was slowed in her flight. Due to the 'the pack' flying fast, she dropped out and, because of dastardly winds, fell out of the sky and miraculously landed on rabbit's ear moss, which is THE softest moss you could land on. While the Pebble Dragon, Sharptooth Strongwing, was taking a walk he came upon Dancer.  They were hatchlings at the time and now they are good colleagues.  Dancer is desperately in love with Sharptooth.  She is now a lifemate to Sharptooth.
