Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, smaller in females, aiding both in digging up food and protection from attack. Females are noticeably brighter than males due to their habit of not straying far from particularly algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This wyvern loves to eat frogs.  There is little she enjoys more than enjoying the squishy feel of making a croaker croak as she swallows it.  The little webbed feet sometimes get stuck in her teeth, however, so she prefers them without legs.  

It was a lucky day for Phroggher when she discovered a human hunting for frog legs.  As he speared the frogs, took their legs and tossed the remainder back, she intercepted his discards and feasted.  In return, she adopted him as her pet and now protects him from dragons and dangers.
