Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Possessing an esteemed ancestry of purest black (save for the colors of his great grandparents, long since forgotten), Julius takes great pride in his appearance--and also holds an equally powerful contempt for all those who wear lesser colors. So intense are the depths of his narcissism that many consider him mad, Julius behaving with utmost courtesy and respect towards other dark hued beings one moment and murdering his own "improperly" colored children the next. His cruelty has led more than one mate to flee with his unwanted young, an act the stripe considers nothing less than betrayal. When not brooding over these grudges or hunting down the escapees, he often can be spotted lounging on a couch, listening to the music of his bards; he is particularly fond of the fiddle.
