Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Shudders of impact could be heard through the air as two dragons duked it out, screaming insults at one another. Who would have thought months later, they would be in love.

Luisa is one of these two. Much as with her mother, Luisa is cursed and very clumsy. But she never hesitates to poke fun at herself or others. She has a sarcastic tongue and jokes too much sometimes. Her mother, it also turns out, is rapidly coming down with a strange disease.

After a major episode with it, Luisa was looking to cool down. Her group coincided with the dragons Bel likes to hang with. She started teasing one of them and got caught at a very wrong time.

Bel went on the offensive. The show that followed was momentous. When the dust settled, Luisa was the victor and Bel admitted he was wrong.

Bel bore all to her, hoping to make her understand. Slowly she found herself in love.

Now Luisa needs to make a decision. Holding on might drag her under, but she worries she won't be able to let him go.
