Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It perfectly depicts summer weather.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Last summer, this dragon's owner used to collect only one adult of each dragon. She changed her ideas soon after summer's end, but that still left her only summer, Cecilia, alone and unhappy. Her owner tried to keep her company with every other form of seasonal, but nothing was working... and then one day, she caught this little egg, and realized it was summer again! She gave the egg to Cecilia to raise, and now this chubby child is constantly fussed over and loved by his adoptive mommy. It's a happy start to summer all around!
