Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It can fit right in your palm.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

As graceful and elegant as her mother, this dragon has one lifelong goal; to become a famous dancer. And while she is, indeed, very talented at the art, there is one tiny problem... how tiny she is.

No respectable dancing institution would allow her in since, at her size, hardly anyone can actually SEE her performance. For a long time she was heartbroken over this, but then one day she had an epiphany, and came up with the perfect solution.

She now dances on table tops in fancy restaurants, entertaining the most famous and rich in the land as they dine; her patrons are so delighted by her performances that they've been telling all their friends about her, and before long, maybe she'll get her place in the spotlight after all...
