Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
This dragon is very playful, despite his age. He is often seen acting as a hatchling would and especially loves to blend in with fall leaves in autumn. Although he can be a bit too playful at times and attempts to play his games with people a bit too often, he's, in fact, considered a nuisance by the surrounding villages of his mountain forest because often when he comes to play, he ends up destroying several buildings. Despite this, some see him flying past as an astonishing site as his vibrantly colored wings and tail are stunning in the midday sun. He is even known to allow village children to take rides on his back and has allowed this for long enough that most of the villages, though they become frustrated when he comes prancing in, have not raised arms against him. He is even known to help with simple chores such as carrying heavy things and helping with construction, in exchange for a little fun, of course.
