Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Verdel is a sharp tempered dragon, usually not even kind to other dragons themselves. She is almost always found outside of the cave, away from the other dragons and hatchlings. She only seems calm around the eggs, probably because they couldn't truly bother her. Most days, she is found in the forest below the cave, chasing off any creatures that come near her, whether human or animal.
