Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ignatius, in contrast to his 'brother', Valour'Luce, is a serious and harsh sort, not given to much fooling around. He prefers to abstain from the very things Luce enjoys, which often aggravates the younger Silver. He has not yet found anybody that has captivated his heart, and he does not think he will any time soon. Ignatius much prefers to be alone with some kind of old tome than out cavorting with the rest of the horde, and has earned the nickname of Hermit because of this, much to his displeasure. Nobody in the horde says it to his face unless they want to get smacked with that tail. Regardless, Ignatius actually isn't too bad of a dragon, if more than a little grumpy and stubborn.
