Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

After hatching before all of his other siblings and wandering from his own home, Szanore grew up around other dragons for most of his life, not caring much for breeds. After an unexpected mistake caused him to find his home once more as an adult, he took up his current name Szanore (Sha-No-Reh) after both his mother and father. He now currently resides with Silvester A. Raffine and Haven's blood, who both had no idea who their parents were until Silvester found them once more. His previous name was Guardian's Savior.

He is a very calm and collected dragon, probably the only one of the three adopted brothers that actually thinks before doing. At times, he thinks things through too much and gets people angry. He is also very happy with socializing with others. He is part of the original 3 surviving dragons on this scroll.
